Dear Fellow Republican:

Your Lenoir County GOP is taking steps to ensure that you will be kept up to date on local political actions that affect you and your family. Several members have volunteered to attend and report on Lenoir County, Kinston, LaGrange and school board meetings. Another member will report on important General Assembly proposals. The party understands that our members are busy and cannot attend all important meetings of our elected officials. We hope these reports will give you the information you need to contact your local and state representatives to express your opinions about issues. While this has not been a “Republican season,” it is important that we stay on top of matters that concern us all.

We will post these reports on our Web site where they will be available for you to read.

We need to ready ourselves now for next year’s elections. Staying on top of issues that matter will put us in a good position to make a difference in 2010.

If you are willing to volunteer to attend any of the above meetings, or the Pink Hill Town Council, please contact me. More volunteers will place less of a burden on one person to cover every meeting of the various groups.
